Established in 1970, Saul Mineroff Electronics, Inc has grown into one of the largest independent audio/video repair services companies in the U.S.A.. In the beginning, SME specialized in Standard Cassette and Reel to Reel recorders. As a result, SME was called on to help major manufacturers with factory repairs, refurbishing, and modifications for environmental field recordists. Through this business, the company established strong business and technical relationships with major manufacturers, such as UHER, TEAC/TASCAM, Marantz, Olympus, Sennheiser and SONY. Relationships which continue to this day.

Every SME bench technician is an electronic engineer and has extensive knowledge of analog and digital circuitry. Our technicians have "raised the bar" for audio and video repair facilities. By providing fast, accurate and high quality work, we have elevated electronic repair work to the level of electronic manufacturing operations.
